Submit a Proposal through the CESJ SIG
All AERA Annual Meeting (Conference) proposals are submitted online through the AERA proposal submission interface accessible from the AERA Homepage (www.aera.net). As a part of the AERA proposal submission process, you will be given the option to route your proposal to the CESJ SIG. If you have any questions about taking advantage of this option, please feel free to contact the CESJ Program Chair
In putting together your proposal, be sure to take into account the following CESJ Session Submission Criteria and Guidelines:
- Purpose of the research is relevant to the mission of CESJ.
- Research provides a well-articulated critical theoretical framework.
- Research is clearly located in current sociopolitical context of education.
- Research has potential to impact, in socially just ways, the lives of children, K-12schools, and/or the communities in which families live.
- Methodology is relevant and appropriate to research purpose.
- Conclusions or interpretations are well supported by the data.
- Format for presentation is creative, interactive, and includes the participation of non-traditional voices at AERA.
- Writing style is high quality and has clear organization.
- Overall assessment.
